The info you need
With Glögg, the end-of-year celebrations are infused with a singular charm, whether enjoyed hot or iced in delicious cocktails. Below you will find two cocktail recipes by Kusmi – Glögg on Fire and Frosty Glögg. More than enough to keep the party going, even after Christmas! To prepare them, you will need: a saucepan, cocktail glasses, a measuring cup, a muddler, and a shaker.
To get things started, here are the bases you need to make the two cocktails:
Base 1: Glögg syrup
Ingredients: 3 tsp. Glögg / 16.9 oz. cane sugar syrup
Pour 16.9 oz. cane sugar syrup and 3 tsp. Glögg into a saucepan. Simmer for 3-4 minutes and strain.
Base 2: Iced Glögg
Ingredients: 5 tsp. Glögg / A dozen ice cubes / 33 oz. water.
Brew the Glögg in the hot water, as if you were making an herbal tea, then add the ice cubes.
Glögg on Fire – the cocktail to keep things hot
Serves 4: 1 bottle of red wine / 5 oz. Glögg syrup / 8.5 oz. iced Glögg / 2 slices of lemon.
Mix the Glögg syrup, iced Glögg, bottle of red wine (25 oz.), and 2 slices of lemon in a saucepan. Simmer for 15 minutes. Pour into pretty glasses, and serve with slices of lemon (optional).

Frosty Glögg – a cocktail for breaking the ice
Serves 1: ¼ lime or lemon / 1.7 oz. vodka / 0.5 oz. Glögg syrup / 2 oz. iced Glögg / 0.7 oz. blackcurrant juice.
Crush the lemon with the muddler and add all the other ingredients into a shaker. Shake well and pour into a glass!
